Fix broken email links to tasks and opportunities

Summary:

When email notifications are sent out that an Opportunity or Task has been created, the link to said Opportunity or Task is broken. Only part of the link is clickable. That link takes you to a Saved Search (such as My Open Opportunities), instead of directly to the Opportunity. However, if you highlight and copy the entire text, and paste it into your browser, it will take you the the right place.

Has anyone every experienced this, and come up with a solution or work around? These links have worked for us before, but only for a shirt time before going back to an incomplete link. Is there a character limit perhaps?
