Can i call a soap api from OFSC hosted plugin

Summary:

I am trying to call a Fusion finance SOAP API from my OFSC plugin code using JS fetch/ajax . Is it possible ?

i read that not possible on hosted plugins as there is no server side handling . pls suggest.
