Mass Process to Complete Performance Documents Missing Documents

Summary:

After running the mass process to complete performance documents, we have 783 documents remaining that did not update to the complete status. What would cause these documents to be overlooked and not updated like the rest?

I was able to close approx 3,000 documents so I have the correct security roles to be running this process.

I confirmed the documents that remain open are within my access, are active employees, and there isn't an eligibility profile that would exclude them.
