Cash Expenses Not Being Used to Offset Personal Spend Corporate Card Transactions
Summary:
Some Cash expense claims are not being used to offset personal spend corporate card transactions.
Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):
In our organisation, Employees use Corporate Cards and the Payment Option is ‘Company Pay’.
As per the Implementation Manual:
If the employee reports any corporate card transactions as personal expenses, these transactions are offset against any cash business expenses reported. Therefore, the amount reimbursable to the employee is reduced by the amount of the corporate card personal expenses.
This is generally what we are seeing, however, if an employee updates their bank account between flagging a Corporate Card transaction as Personal and raising a future Cash Expense – the future Cash Expense is not being used to offset the personal spend corporate card transaction.
