Install base Asset sub view in Account

Not able to manage/customize(asset's sorting) the Install base Asset sub tab in Account

We have enabled the Install base asset in our environments. Business wants us to change the sorting of the records shown in the Install Base Asset sub tab in account. When we enable a sandbox and go to pages of account(detail page) and then edit the install base asset sub tab, we do not see the search and sorting option here like any other sub tab shows the options.(refer the first screenshot below which shows the sorting and all other options while editing the sub tab inside account pages(for any custom object, I see that OOTB objects like contact/opportunity doesn't
