Can you update the goal status bar in a check-in document when view goal status?

Summary

During a check-in with performance goals as the topics, the manager is able to see the goal details when they select the view goal details; however, is unable to edit the goal progress slider. Is this functionality even possible as we have made allowed HR specialists, Line Manager and Employees to edit and update goals. We do not see any type of settings within the check-in template that we would have to enable.
