Journey notification to Primary(first assignment) manager

Summary:


We are using the employment model-2 tier multiple assignment.

We noticed an issue with manager notification.

We had set the Journey notification to manager for termination.

But we noticed that the journey notification to manager triggers always to first assignment manager not to the second assignment manager . Though we terminate secondary assignment , the journey notification always triggers to first assignment manager.

Is it a known issue ? or any setup /change needed at application. Please suggest
