"Unknown" in Chats by Operating System

Hello,

 

Our client success manager created a custom report for my team and me since we just implemented Live Chat on our FAQ site.  It follows the same format as the report: "Devices by Operating System." However, in both reports, there is an "Unknown" category for operating system types.  Does anyone know what this is?  Our client success manager believes that the end user is on an outdated web browser and since the outdated web browser/operating system doesn’t fall into one of the predefined categories, it comes up as "Unknown." Anyone else have any insight?
