Not able to update customer profile in collection when business level is "Customer"

Summary:

We have set the business level to perform all the collection activities as "Customer". We have set the business level in Collection preference, Collection strategy, Manage Collections Scoring and Strategy Assignments at "customer" level. In the assignment, assigned different collection strategy based on the different customer "profile classes".

With this setup, we have observed that the profile class at the "Customer" level profile is never getting updated upon running all the standard collection ESS jobs. Because of this, we are unable to bring different profile classes at the "Customer" level profile, hence, failing to assign strategy according to Customer profile class.
