Manage JDE Sales Order Historical Data In Oracle Fusion CX Sales

We need to load JDE sales order historical data into Oracle Sales Cloud for reporting purposes. We have two approaches in mind, but the challenge is managing approximately a million sales order records.

  1. Store the sales order information in Oracle Sales Cloud using a custom object.
  2. Utilize the integration between Sales Cloud and CPQ, which syncs quote information including quote lines and pricing to Sales Cloud. We can capture JDE sales order information within the respective quotes in CPQ, and these quotes can be updated in Opportunities. In Sales Cloud, we can create a custom attribute to store the sales order details in the "Quote and Order" section
