Moving employees to different Plans

Summary:

We have two dental plan types

Dental Plan Type 1

Plan 1

Plan 2

Plan 3

Dental Plan Type 2

Plan 1

Plan 2.

Now starting next month Plan type 2 is being decommissioned and we need to move employees in Plan type 2 plans to Plan type 1 plans.

We have mapping that plan type2 Plan1 —> Plan type1 Plan 1

Plan type2 Plan2 —> Plan type1 Plan2

My thought is to end date employees in Plan type 2 using Spread sheet loader and again load them to Plan type1 plans using Spread sheet loader with effective next month.

Is there any other way to achieve this?
