Due date for performance document

Is it possible to set a due date for a performance document as a whole, as opposed to due dates for the individual tasks within the document? Based on what I've seen in performance templates and in the Oracle Help Center, it doesn't appear so, but want to do my due diligence.

If it is possible, are the manager and worker able to make edits/submit tasks within the document after the due date passes?
