Carry Forward/Default HSA Coverage Amount using Default Enrollment Formula
Hi,
We have a requirement to reinstate/default the employee into the previously enrolled plans, when the employee is Rehired within 30 days of Termination. We are currently able to achieve this via a Default Enrollment Formula which defaults the employee into the previously enrolled plans/option.
However, we do see that for HSA plan, it defaults the employee into the correct plan/option but doesn't carry forward the coverage amount which the employee had entered.
Example - An employee before termination had enrolled into HSA Employee Only and had entered $500 as their contribution, after rehire within 30 days of termination, the system assigns the employee back to HSA Employee Only but with $0 as the contribution.
