We have a requirement for the Lower TDS Functionality for India Localization

edited May 7, 2025 10:22AM in Tax & Global 3 comments

Summary:

In India the suppliers get TDS Certificate with a credit limit for each year when they utilize that credit limit then the base tax rate percentage needs to be calculated.

Example. If supplier AAA has a certificate no. and Certificate limit 10000 Rs. and certificate rate is 0.5% under section - SEC 194 for an year whereas once the certificate limit is exceeded then the standard rate of 2% needs to be calculated.

How do we achieve the above and where do we have to assign or attach the certificate and certificate no. in the supplier level.

The same tax section is used for multiple suppliers as well and they have different exemption credit limit and percentage. How do we achieve this as well

Howdy, Stranger!
