How to filter a report by the top 5 Categories

I have a report that shows an SR count by category grouped by month (showing 12 months) with a line chart. The problem is that the line chart only shows 4 months at a time. This appears to be because of the number of categories. If I filter out specific categories it reduces the number of lines in the line chart and thus allows additional months to be displayed on the line chart.

I need to find a way to somehow increase the number of months that will display in the line chart or to only show the top 5 categories based on the "Less than 1-day old" column.
