Report paging for printing a custom report of Answer records

I need to print a hard-copy of a custom report I created that combines Answer records with their associated Notes records, one page per Answer record since this is a custom report that displays several large text fields in a vertical layout. The report paging option only affects the report view in RightNow, and does not affect the PDF when exported. If I try to print directly from the report view, it brings up the standard built-in Answer record form view to print from, not my custom report layout. Is there any way to accomplish this that I’m not aware
