Report Linking within a Workspace Report?

Does Report Linking not work when a Report is placed into a Workspace?

I've added a Report Control to a Workspace, the report within that control has Report Linking attached to a column, the linking functions when the report is stand alone but no links are present when inserted into a workspace.
