Historical Incident Count by Status

Hello Everyone,

I am looking to create a report that shows Incident counts in a queue over a historical period of time by day, for example the individual days in the month of June 2016 and with the columns being statuses such as "Updated," "Waiting," etc. Upon reading through numerous threads, it looks like I need to either use the Threads or Stats table, but I do not know where to start.

Help is very much appreciated.
