HDHP - HSA - FSA using Plan Dependency/Mutually Exclusive Rules
Hi Experts,
We have a business requirement where if the associate is electing HDHP plan, they will then need to enroll into either HSA or FSA and not both.
Below is the scenario we are trying to achieve via Plan Dependency Rules and Mutually Exclusive Plan Rules (MEPR):
- Associate Elects HDHP Associate Only Option
- We have built a MEPR, which greys out the HSA Associate and Family Option and allows associate to elect Associate Only or Waive Option. In this scenario, the associate elects HSA Waive.
- Since associate has enrolled into HSA Waive, they must enroll into FSA plan and not select Waive in FSA also.
