Can employees see existing development goals comments / updates in Redwood?

Summary:

When we move across to Redwood in Goals, will employees be able to see existing comments / goal updates that they have already entered while still in responsive UI?

Specifically, updates that would be expected to appear in the Goal Updates section of a Redwood goal (in the 'how's the progress on this goal' box).

We have contextual notes enabled for performance goals, and any comments already entered appear in the new Redwood 'how's the progress on this goal' text box.

We have never enabled contextual notes for development goals. Instead we have a field called Goal-specific Comments. For development goals, where will the system pull the existing goal updates from? Will it be from the Goal-specific Comments field, or contextual notes?
