Issue with Redwood Private Goals in 25B – Missing 'Private' Field in Visual Builder Studio

edited Jun 2, 2025 12:09PM in Performance Management

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on Oracle HCM 25B and have encountered an issue regarding Redwood private goals, which were introduced in 25A.

While the documentation states that administrators must configure the Private field in Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and set its Hidden property to Visible to enable private goals, this field does not appear on Performance Goals in VBS in 25B.

As a result, users who had previously set their goals as private can no longer modify them, and there seems to be no way to manage the privacy setting through the UI or VBS.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there an updated method for enabling or controlling private goals in 25B? Appreciate any insights or workarounds.

Howdy, Stranger!
