Should we run "Assign Default Benefit relationship" everyday when Intern to Employee ?

We had this situation,where an Intern was converted to an Employee and since we had the Termination and New Hire as scheduled process.

Intern doesnt have Benefits but Employee do

The New hire ran to "Processed and Closed",we had backed out and ran on a future date and same thing kept happening.

So we checked the Default Benefit Relationship,it was pointing at the Assignment number as Intern ,not the Assignment Number as Employee. When we manually corrected it,we were able to process it.

In order to resolve this issue not to occur in future, should we schedule the run of the "Assign Default Benefit Relationships" everyday or is there any other changes to be done?
