Calculation of the Overall Summary section using Fast Formula across multiple template sections
One of our clients has the following requirement:
The performance template consists of one Goal section and four Competency sections — Values, Core, Leadership, and Technical Competency — all defined with section weightages. Among these, only the Goal, Core Competency, and Leadership Competency sections have assigned weightage and should contribute to the overall performance rating.
Both the Goals and Competency sections use a 3-point rating scale for individual evaluation, but the final overall rating must be calculated and displayed using a 4-point rating scale.
Given this setup with multiple template sections, is it necessary to use the Template Section IDs within the Fast Formula to correctly identify and include only the weighted sections in the final rating calculation?
