Getting Clickstream data from our message base

Hello - 

We have a message base/banner on our home page of our knowledgebase site.  At this time, the message that is on there has two links that we would like to track how many times they are getting clicked.  1 link leads to an outside webpage and the other link leads to a chat launch page for a different interface of ours. 

What would be the best way to gather this data?
