Filtering out from a report any incidents which are not the last (or most recent) incident assigned.

Thanks in advance for any help - really appreciate it!

I have a report that shows me several fields of the last incident related to all of my organisations. To achieve this, each of my column definitions includes the last() expression, sorted by date created, and I've ticked the 'group results' tick box under the 'level' tab.

So far so good - however, my issue is this:

I'd like to have a docked filter for date created, which I can edit at run-time to display, only out of the last incident assigned to each organisation, incidents that were created within a particular date range. In other words, if the last incident in an organisation does not fall within the date range specified in my docked filter, I want the organisation and any incidents related to it excluded from the report completely.
