Update req by approver feature?

Summary:

When I try to edit/modify a requisition as an Approver (For example- Price), the behavior of outcome is very inconsistent. Sometimes the changes/edits are visible and sometimes its not. I have to go to the homepage screen of Purchase Requsitions New) everytime the changes aren't visible. For further clarification, screenshots are attached as follows (Even after updating the amount from 15000 to 17000 and clicking on "Update", it still shows 15000:
