What's the use of Active checkbox in redwood Edit Catalog screen?

We don't have it today in Rui. Moreover, I don't see it via any backend tables as well like HRT_PROFILE_ITEMS, HRT_CONTENT_ITEMS_B, HRT_CONTENT_ITEMS_TL, etc..
