Is it possible to hide performance document from employee until manager completes initial step?

Hello,

Were implementing a PIP performance document. Currently, as soon as the document is created, it's visable to the employee - even before the manager as completed their initial steps. While the employee cannot see the specific content yet, they can see the document.

We'd like to hide the document from the employee until a specific step is completed (e.g. when the manager formally shares it).

is there a way to delay visibility or control when the document appears in the employee view?
