Difference between user_trans and account_session_history

I'm doing some reporting on Staff Accounts and noticed that when I report on logins between these two tables, I get some differences.

For instance, for Start Date = 12/19/17 12AM to 12/19/17 11:59PM

  • User_trans (type=login): 639 records
  • Account_session_history (type=agent desktop session): 641 records

Then some of the start and end times for each staff are different between the tables.

Do these two tables report on accounts differently?
