Workflow Scheduled Actions Not Rescheduling When Date Field Changes in Oracle CX Sales
Summary:
I’m facing an issue with workflow scheduled actions in Oracle CX Sales. I have a workflow set to trigger 30 days before a specific date field, with the triggering condition set as “when the date field is updated.”
Scenario:
- User initially sets the date as September 15, 2025 → email expected to be triggered on August 15, 2025.
- However, in January 2025, the user updates the date to 2027, but the email still triggers on August 15, 2025.
It seems that once a workflow action is scheduled, it doesn’t automatically cancel or reschedule when the date field is updated.
