is it feasible to make "Business Title" on Goals page to show only primary assignment, with VBCS?

Summary:

In the Redwood "Goals Center," a "Business Title" dropdown field shows if someone is on or has had past multiple assignments. The employee's various titles show in the dropdown, whether they are active or inactive titles. We would like to suppress the multiple titles from showing or hide the "Business Title" field altogether but default the primary assignment.
