Can we hide the Save and Save & Close buttons on the ADF screen using Page Composer?

We want to hide the Save and Save & Close buttons for the Sales Opportunity Inquiry role.

We want to hide or disable the create button in Activities and make the records read-only.

We are trying to use roles to restrict the creation and update of an activity record by removing privileges in some of the assigned roles to the user, but the user is still able to create and update a record.

Also, we tried to hide the

Save and Save and Close buttons via page composer; however, the Show Component setting is grayscaled. Finally, we tried to use application composer by creating a new landing page, but it still didn't work.
