Default a value from the drop down in "Performance Goals and Documents" section on 'Global Transfer'

We would like to default the value for below two attributes under "Performance Goals and Documents" section on 'Local and Global Transfer' page. Could you please shed some light what is the best approach to get this done.
- Which review periods do you want to include? drop-down is set to “All Review Periods".
- By default, the checkbox “Transfer current performance documents should be ticked.
