Automation of “Status” field after upgrading to Redwood 25c

Dear all,

after activating Redwood 25c, we noticed a change in the workflow behavior.
When selecting the next step under the “Phase” field, the “Status” field now requires manual input, whereas previously it was updated automatically.

We would like to understand if there is a way to restore the previous automation or configure the system so that the “Status” is populated automatically when moving to the next phase, as it was before the update.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution/workaround?
