Benefit Plan Impacted Due to Seniority Date Reset After Global Transfer
We are facing an issue in our client’s Oracle HCM Fusion environment related to Benefits and Seniority Date handling during Global Transfers.
When an employee undergoes a Global Transfer (movement from one legal employer or country to another), the Seniority Date gets recalculated or reset as per the new assignment or legal employer. Because several of our Benefit Plans—such as Length of Service Benefit Plans and Length of Service Awards—are configured based on Seniority Date, the change in this date impacts employee eligibility.
The employee becomes ineligible for the benefit plans tied to their prior service history. This is causing data inconsistency and incorrect benefit eligibility calculations post-transfer.
