how to remove Additional Info on Performance document

Question 1
Can we not remove it from document template ?
Does it always have to be removed using VBS Expressmode → Additional Info → Hidden

Question 2

if through VBCS .. is it done through page properties dropdown (true/false) or through "configure fields and region" ?

What is recommended approach ?

Question 3:

Do we need to do it only on Employee page or on Manager page as well ?

Do we need to do it on editable page and read only page both ?

Please advise.
