VBCS Redwood cx-picker for custom object showing extra unknown filter that causes error

Summary:

We created a custom cx-picker template for custom object in VBCS for our Redwood UX.

However, in the LOV it has an option that appears to be a saved search that I cannot find anywhere.

When the mystery "Related Projects" option, the CX picker generates an error and gets disabled and unable to recover.

Initially the picker defaulted to this saved search and I was able to change it to the correct "All Projects" saved search, which works fine, but I don't know where the "Related Projects" option is originating from, or how to remove it.
