How to use multiple assignments when one assignment does not have a salary

Summary:

Currently, we are using multiple assignments to determine eligibility for some employees. While the primary assignment does have a salary, the 2nd assignment does not, but we still need to consider all other attributes as part of eligibility. For instance the first assignment Teacher 1 has an annual salary of 100,000. The second assignment Teacher aid has 0.00 for annual salary. We use both assignments to calculate FTE. Because the 2nd assignment does not have a salary we get the error below when evaluating the life event.

The participation evaluation process couldn't be completed because of a missing coverage value in the ben_determine_coverage.main package. The coverage value is needed to calculate the coverage-multiple rule. If you're a benefits administrator, review the coverage calculation setup and specify a coverage value or change the coverage code. The participant is [employee name] the calculation method is NSVU, the program is NHA Benefit Program, the plan is Basic Life and ADD, the plan type is Basic Life and ADD, the benefit option is , and the coverage is 300000711147298.
