Certification action item does not move to the completed status when the received date is entered

Summary:

After approving the uploaded document, when a date is entered in the Received field the action item remains pending and still reflects a Suspended status.

I click the edit pencil, enter a date and then click Save. The action window closes but the action still reflects pending. When the edit pencil is clicked again, the received date field is blank again. It appears as if its not accepting a value. Could this be a bug or a configuration issue?
