Using Area of Responsibility Type “Recruiting” in Job Requisition Security Profiles

Hi everyone,

We are currently working on Oracle Recruiting Cloud and have configured two custom data roles:

Recruiter - Custom

Recruiting Manager - Custom

For each role, we created a dedicated Job Requisition Security Profile.Both profiles rely on an Area of Responsibility (AOR) of type “Recruiting” to control visibility over job requisitions.

Our question is the following:=> Is it considered a best practice to use the same AOR type (“Recruiting”) for different data roles such as Recruiter and Recruiting Manager?

We attempted to create and use a new, separate AOR type for the Recruiting Manager role.However, with this custom AOR type, users holding the Recruiting Manager role cannot see any job requisitions.When we switch back to the standard “Recruiting” AOR type, the Recruiting Manager is again able to view the job requisition list as expected.
