Audit history enablement for Long text fields

Dear Team,

Currently Audit history can be enabled for certain kinds of fields except Long text fields. Any possibility to enable the audit history for Long text fields with limited character data. So that it's useful for tracing/trail ?

Kindly highlight any probabilities or any chance it might be possible in upcoming releases !
