Conditional routing of a Journey task

Hi All,

We need to configure an Oracle HCM Journey with a task called “Delivery Notification”.

The same Journey must assign this task to different recipients depending on the type of engagement:

  • Permanent employees → Recruitment Office
  • Fellowship → Department section

The task uses:

  • Performer = Area of Responsibility
  • Owner = Area of Responsibility

Recipients are identified through HR Areas of Responsibility based on Organization (Department).

Journey task conditions do not expose Worker Type / Assignment Type / Contract Type, and AORs cannot be filtered by employment type. It is therefore unclear how to implement conditional routing within a single Journey using standard features.

What is the Oracle-supported approach to conditionally route a Journey task to different recipients based on the type of hired employee?
