Global Absence Plan Duration – Handling Partial-Day Hour Absences using single absence type.

To explain the requirement in detail:

I have an Absence Type with UOM defined as Hours and an Absence Plan with UOM defined as Calendar Days, which is front-loaded. Whenever an employee submits a partial-day absence by editing the time at the absence type level, 0.5 calendar day should be deducted. Otherwise, 1 calendar day should be deducted.

I am unable to achieve this requirement using the Global Absence Plan Duration formula because it follows a standard looping mechanism based on the number of days for which the leave is submitted. I am also unable to apply a fixed condition or hardcoded value for comparison, as employee working hours vary due to different work schedules.
