Our client uses Salesforce as the primary system for Customer and Case Management. All customer repair requests are created and managed as Cases in Salesforce, which serves as the system of record for customer interactions. The client wants to use Oracle Fusion Depot Repair only for executing the repair process. They do not want Oracle Service Requests to be managed manually in Oracle, since Salesforce Cases already represent service requests.

Repairs may involve both serialized and non-serialized items.
Some items are tracked in Installed Base, some are not.
