Navigation: Me→ connections → search for employee → Go to Experience tab

Under tenure it is showing as Years and months.. Want to understand, how this is calculated .

is it based on Enterprise hire date /Seniority date of latest primary employee person type work relationship?

(or)

is it based on Legal employer hire date /Seniority date of latest primary employee person type work relationship?

(or)

is it based on number of days from initial work relationship without considering gaps between WR?
