Error : 3–7 format, 3-digit number in the area code field and 7-digit number in the number field

in Recruiting, Opportunity Marketplace

I am facing an issue when an external candidate applies to a requisition manually. They encounter the following error message:

“US Phone number must be entered in 3–7 format, 3-digit number in the area code field and 7-digit number in the number field. (HRX-1560140)”

Could someone please help me to resolve this issue?
