Benefit Rates for both Option level & Plan level
I have created a new plan where the employee can select multiple options (Emp Only, Child, Non-dependents, etc.). The rates also vary based on the dependent age and the no. of dependents. Hence I have setup Option level rates where the corresponding Rate FF will determine the rate based on the criteria and I did not attach any Payroll element at Option level. I have created another Standard Rate at Plan level where I am using another FF which will aggregate all these rates from Option level and return the final Rate to the Payroll element.
Now as part of testing, I have made the enrollment successfully but I see that no rates are created on Benefits screen and no element entry is created. What could be the problem. Assuming that something is wrong with the FF, I also passed a hard-coded value and even changed it to Flat amount and tested it but still doesn't work. I have checked the "Assign on enrollment" checkbox for the Plan level rate. Eligibility of the element is also Open. Any idea on what could be wrong or does this design work?
