Loss of eligibility not working properly when scheduled.

Summary: Hello Experts! Employee has open enrolment life event as of 1/1/2026 and Dependent got aged out on 12/29/2025. Scheduled process did not triggered loss of eligibility life event. When i backed out OE life event and retriggered Reevaluate Designee Eligibility then Loss of eligibility life event is processed successfully on 12/29 and dependent is dropped from the plan. Is this expected behavior?
