“Request More Info” only active for external candidates – can it be enabled for internal candidates?

We enabled the “Request more info” option, but it is only available for external candidates. Could you please help us confirm whether this feature can also be enabled for internal candidates?

Our goal is to request additional information from candidates during the screening stage, and for them to be able to upload attachments that would then be stored in their candidate history.

Is this functionality supported for internal candidates? If so, what configuration is required?
