Custom Address Field in Hire – visibility in Recruiting

Hi everyone,

we would like to clarify the behavior of custom fields added to the Address section.

If we create a custom field (Descriptive Flexfield – PER_ADDRESSES_DFF) and expose it in the Hire an Employee (Redwood) transaction, will this field also be visible or available during the Recruiting process (for example in candidate address or offer-related flows)?

Specifically, we would like to understand:

• whether Address DFFs exposed in Core HR Hire are also reused in Recruiting, or
• if additional configuration is required to expose the same custom address field in Recruiting, or
• if this separation is by design.
